This is an independent guide to four castles of the Loire Valley: Chambord, Chenonceau, Clos Lucé and Amboise. We built it to put what you need in one place: official prices, hours, how to get there and practical tips, including a two-day plan.

We are not the Domaine national de Chambord, the Château de Chenonceau, the Château du Clos Lucé or the Château royal d’Amboise, and this is not the official website of any of them. We do not run the castles, we do not use official logos or photos, and we do not sell their official tickets: those are sold on their own websites. The names Chambord, Chenonceau, Clos Lucé and Amboise are names of places, and we use them only to describe them.

The tickets, passes and tours featured here are sold by our partner Tiqets. Prices, hours and rules come from the official websites, and we note when we last checked them. Hours are those published for 2026, and they change from year to year. If you spot a mistake, write to us and we will fix it.
